The Courthouse was built in 1835, originally it was used as the local Courthouse and then the parish hall up until 1992. It is now a comfortable and cosy hoilday home, ideal for a couple.
The Courthouse has one en-suite bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower over bath. Fully equipped kitchen / living room with satelite TV, DVD player, WIFI and a wood burning stove. Outside there is garden with outdoor furniture, BBQ, laundry room with washing machine & dryer.
The Courthouse & Charlie's Cottage are situated beside each other and can be rented together making them ideal for two couples traveling together. Lorrha is the ideal central location from which to see the real Ireland. Dublin is a two hour drive away, Galway & Limerick are one hour away & Cork is just over two hours.
Closer to home is Portumna with it's Workhouse Centre, Castle & Forest Park on the edge of Lough Derg is just a 10 minute drive, the Heritage town of Birr with it's world famous Castle & Gardens is 20 a minute drive from Lorrha.
